Eric Savage, Linda's father, bought White Lane Farm in 1953. He farmed the poultry unit and beef herd with great success until his death in 2004. Linda's mother, Angela, has lived at the farm since 1954 and has always been involved with the horses. Her passion was breeding and training racehorses, which was always very successful. Angela helped Linda when she started the riding school in 1988 and has played an important role ever since. Although she no longer helps in the yard she is a partner in the business and still answers the phone and makes the tea and coffee when required by instructors and staff!
